“Repent and believe in the Gospel.” My dear brothers and sisters, the Church, during these 40 days of Lent, encourages us to embrace the invitation of Jesus to turn away from sin and to take to heart his words of life - the Gospel. St. Leo the Great, in one of his sermons, reminds us: “The whole Church rejoices in the forgiveness of sins. Initially, individuals are made new by the rebirth of baptism. Yet there is still required a daily renewal to repair the shortcomings of our mortal nature, and whatever degree of progress has been made there is no one who should not be more advanced. All must therefore strive to ensure that on the day of redemption no one may be found in the sins of their former life.” . . . Click on the image to read the complete message.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Within the Biblical mindset, the heart was seen as the very core of human being. Everything was rooted in and issued forth from the heart. One’s relationship with God was seen, centered and treasured in the heart of the believer. It was the appointed time of the Incarnation that the Son of God took on a human heart in order to transmit to the hearts of the people his unconditional love. It is within the pierced-Sacred-Heart, filled with compassion and tender mercy, that our human hearts, wounded by sin, are redeemed and saved. . .Click on the image to read the complete message.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, As we leave the month of May, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, we now move into June, the month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. As the home is referred to as the domestic church, there is a custom to have homes & families consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. To have the enthronement of an image of the Sacred Heart has been a popular Catholic devotion over the years. . . Click on the image to read the complete message.

Brothers and Sisters, We give thanks for the recent Supreme Court ruling recognizing that the prohibition of indoor worship is a violation of our religious liberty. At the same time, we do not in any way wish to downplay the seriousness of the pandemic. We will be returning indoor services, not only because of this ruling but also because we know that it can be done safely. . . As Catholics, we firmly believe that God has a plan for our lives! He calls some to marriage, some to the priesthood, and others to religious life. Some remain as generous single people. Fully living our own vocations—and teaching young people how to discern God’s call—is a serious duty, but also a joyful one... Click on the image to read more.
