We have received word from a number of sources that Alejandro Sullon has been offering his services as a Bishop to celebrate Sacraments. He presents himself as the ‘Bishop of Bakersfield’. He is from Peru and also advertises himself as the Bishop of the Diocese of the Lord of Divine Mercy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Cf: his short piece on YouTube – “Obispo Peruano en California. Monsenor Alejanddro Sullon” He was consecrated a Bishop in the Old Catholic Church by “Archbishop” José Luís Ramírez [ Old Catholic ] for the Archdiocese of the Most Holy Trinity of Bakersfield, California. Most recently we received word that “Bishop” Sullon will hold a First Communion and Confirmation celebration in Patterson on 10 November 2018 at the FDES Hall and is gathering applications for the reception of the Sacraments. Sullon is not a Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church, he is not in union with Pope Francis nor with the Bishop of Stockton. He has no permission or faculties to celebrate Sacraments in the Diocese of Stockton.
